Had just 24 Hrs a day!
It rained on Friday evening, so I thought my bike ride would have to be ditched off. Luckily, it was a fine cloudless morning the next day and everything went on as per plan. It was an extraordinary weekend as I predicted.. Met many people after long and a few were out of the blue. Some from my school and some from the college, it has been very long since I've seen them.
On Saturday, after visiting Sujatha in the evening, we (henceforth refers to Siva, Vj, Tarr and self) went to the beach to catch up with our folks waiting there. Second show of Ayutha Ezhuthu was next. Had been to Sundar's house warming ceremony on Sunday and then to Diana's house.. Pritam and Balasankar joined us there.
It so happens that whenever the school friends get together, we start to talk about every stupid thing that happened while in school. But, for somebody who hasn't shared our schooldays, this whole twaddle proves to be confusing and at times annoying too! So was it for Tarr and Vj, who were, for most of the time, trying to figure out if we were laughing with our senses off! It takes sometime for us, the school-kids, to realize their state and come back to senses for their good!
After washing down hot Gobi pakode with cool lime juice, we posed for some snaps together before leaving for home. We called in Varun in the evening. He had had great experiences in Pune which he faithfully described to us (You see, one shouldn't try to demonstrate how the disc brake works to a girl while on the move. Is that right Varun?) and made us laugh our stomachs out!
Well, as I told before, time was in dearth and it seemed that we packed up as soon as we landed! With sweet memories, I am very dearly looking forward to more such instances..
