Old gal was she of the bunch of friends,
Called the panda of the bamboo grove,
Tall and topped with pop cut hair,
Jolly wolly pal with love and care,

Brainy kid who topped her school,
Followed the trend at college too -
Sincere ever and keeps head cool!
Funny as she speaks the language of South,
No more its Tamil out of her mouth..

At stroke of 12, she's older by a year,
Me so happy coz am still younger here!
Special day this is and made me a poet,
Just for a big treat, Sure you bet!
